Rawhide Kid is considered Jack Kiiby’s most beloved western gunfighter. Here’s a page that has never been offered up for sale before with a particularly great shot of the Kid in one of his classic poses. All that Kirby art for this low price doesn’t seem right. This issue is dated December 1961, Fantastic Four #1 is dated November 1961 and issue #2 is January of ‘62. Kirby must have been working on this right after he finished FF 1. Cool thought, huh?
